Service Alberta manages incorporation or registration of corporations, business names, extra-provincial corporations, societies, religious societies and non-profit organizations and administers related acts and regulations.
The ministry also licenses or registers diverse types of businesses in Alberta from travel clubs to employment agencies and cemeteries. It also oversees and enforces legislation and regulations that set standards for charitable organizations and professional fundraisers.
